Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Ford Transit T350 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT four-pole trailer wiring harness. Adding a four-pole harness to the back of your Transit is gonna allow you to pull trailers that have four-pole wiring on it. Essentially what you want to do with it is you want to get the lighting signals from the back of your Transit to the back of your trailer. You want to be able to let others know what your intentions are. And this four-pole is designed to work for your left turn, your right turn, your stop signal and your running lights. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2018 Ford Transit T-350. Transits are used for a bunch of different things and a lot of times for business people will be able to pull a trailer. So if you have a hitch on your T-350, it's very beneficial to pick up four pole trailer wiring harness and that way when you plug into your trailer, you'll have those light sequence headed to the lights on the trailer and that way you stay safe and legal. And this kit will plug in directly to your factory lights. You don't have to cut any major wires as far as the factory ones. Now, the trouble I found is the clips aren't exactly great. more

Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Ford Transit T350- Video
Hola neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're gonna install the Tekonsha Trailer Wiring System on our 2018 Ford Transit-T350. Now this four pole system is gonna be great for hooking up to our trailer, which this will give us the signals from the vehicle for your brake lights and turn signals, keeping you safe and legal while towing. So this is gonna be on the outside of your vehicle, so it does have this rubber boot, which is a dust cap, and also keeps water and road grime from getting all your connections dirty. This will mount onto a bracket and you'll have it ready for when you need it to tow. If you don't have a bracket you can actually hook these onto your hitches tow loops and keep them in place. So the wiring kit has a T-connector that connects to our factory bulbs and splits off. more

We're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness here for our 2016 Ford Transit Connect T-350. So the Curt T-Connector is going to provide us with the most basic four-pole trailer wiring connector. Now this basic four-pole connector is going to provide us with the right-hand stop and turn signal circuits, the left-hand stop and turn signal circuits, as well as the taillights. So those for both .. Those three or four basic functions there are going to be equipped to tow most small to medium-duty trailers. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Transit-350, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Now this vehicle wiring harness is going to allow your trailer lighting to function properly, so not only are you going to remain safe and legal, giving you that peace of mind, other motorists are also going to appreciate the fact that you're responsible enough to have proper lighting to let them know what you plan on doing while you're going down the road.Now this is going to have a power output for your stop and turn signals of 2.1 amps. For your tail lights, it's going to have a power output of 3.75 amps, so that's going to be plenty of power to run all your basic trailer lighting, if not more. Now it does have a thick and durable dust cap that'll help protect the terminals from the elements. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ford Transit T350- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Transit T-350, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118722. To begin our installation we'll open up the rear hatch here and we're going to pull the screw located right here and the one located right here so we can get this housing off of the vehicle. We'll do that with a T-25 Torx bit. Now we want to kind of pull kind of straight back on the light. There's a couple of pressure clips here we need to separate. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ford Transit T350- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Transit 350, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Tow Ready T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with the four pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118643. All right, now here's what our wiring kit's going to look like. The heart of our system's going to be our module light box here. What this is going to do is it's going to take signals from behind our driver's side tail light, you see our T connector, it's just going to plug right in the sockets, and our passenger side tail light. It's going to convert that into a usable signal that our trailer lights will recognize. You can see the white wire here, that's used to ground out our module light box, and the black wire's used to power it, so we're not drawing any power from the lighting system. more
